A Pug Morning!

I woke up this morning

and what did I see?

A wrinkled up Pug face,

just staring at me!

He had big black eyes

and a short little nose.

Soft velvet ears folded up like a rose.

Just inches away,

he gave a big wheeze,

sucked in some air and

let out a giant sneeze.

A joy? A pleasure? A thrill?

It IS not!

To be waked in the morning
by a spray of Pug snot!!

At Banff, Moray and Nairn open show Jasper won his class then got beaten by Edward the Pug for Best of Breed, nice to be beaten by a friend!

Roseisle Companion Dog Show

At Roseisle companion dog show on Sunday Brint wins the Fliers obedience class and Jasper wins the Triers obedience class.

They also win the best odd couple class, as well.

SKC weekend Jasper qualifies for Crufts again and gets 2nd in post graduate dog, Jasper and I also qualified to compete in the YKC Handling at Crufts after winning our class and to top it off, we went to the Pug Dog Club open show at Haddington on the Sunday and won our post graduate class! Luv you Jasperxx

Last Sunday we travelled to Westfield House near Elgin for a companion dog show, Jasper won A.V Toy and Terrier, then we won our junior handling age class!

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Test

The last Tuesday at Dog Club before breaking up for our Summer holidays, was Good Citizen test night, me and Jasper got our Silver Award and Mum and Sadie got their Bronze and Silver.
Jasper and I would like to say thanks to our trainer Lesley and Alison our examiner.

A Weekend To Remember!

While Mum was competing at ACTS obedience show held at Hazelhead park in Aberdeen with Brint, at the weekend.
Sadie, Jasper, Morag and Me, were competing at Bon Accord Kennel Association open breed show held over in the other side of Aberdeen at Seaton Park on Sunday.

Mum and Brint won their Beginners class on Saturday and then came 2nd on Sunday.

Morag handled Sadie winning Best of Breed, Group 4, Puppy Group 3 and 2nd in A.V. Pastoral Yearling.

While Jasper and I got 1st Pug Yearling, 1st A.V Toy Yearling and won our Junior Handling class!

Definately a weekend to remember.

Border Union Championship Show

Last weekend Mum, Morag and Me, travelled down to the Scottish Borders (450 mile round trip) so we could compete at Border Union Champ show held in Kelso.
We arrived on the Friday evening, after pitching our tent, which was to be our home for 3 days, we had our tea in June and Andys fancy Motorhome! wow!
On Saturday we enjoyed walking around the show and at night went to the disco, which is held by the show.
After a late night we were all up early on the Sunday, getting our dogs ready, wow! what a weekend, Jasper qualified for crufts 2010! I'm so excited!

A Very Busy Weekend

Saturday morning saw us up and on the road before 5AM to travel to Haddington nr Edinburgh for the Scottish Pug Dog club Champ Show.
I was in my glory pugs everywhere, we didn't get placed but never the less had a great day!

On Saturday night we stayed in Perth, so we could compete at Perthshire Canine Club on the Sunday.

Me n Jasp got 2nd in Pug open, won our AV Graduate class and then went onto win Overall Best Junior Handler, WOW!

Simply the Best

On Saturday Jasper and I competed in our first ever obedience competition.
An obedience match held by our club, against ACTS.
Jasper and I entered the first class, for dogs who had never competed before and we came 2nd, wow.
You're the best Jasper xxx.

Last Saturday Morag, Sue, Mum and Me met up at Lesleys for a walk at Forgue. It poured with rain throughout, but the dogs ten of them to be exact, had great fun even Jasper who doesn't really like the rain.
Afterwards it was back to Lesleys to a roaring fire, for some hot soup and cake which was delicious!

Just before Christmas Jasper and I took the Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen test and we PASSED!
Jasper and I says thanks to Lesley our Teacher and Alison our Examiner.
Now to start training for the Silver test.....!

More Snow

Woke up this morning to over two foot of snow! It took Dad all morning to clear all around the house and best of all the schools were closed.
Me and Jasper had great fun in the snow, enough to go sledging in as well.

Snow Pug

It was snowing her today, although it snowed all day there wasn't much on the ground well not enough to go sledging in anyway. We took the dogs on one of our local walks round the Dunny-Duff woods. The dogs had great fun they all love the snow!

Cullen Beach

Mum took me and my friend Brogan and all the dogs to the beach today for a walk.
The plan was to get some photos of the dogs, when we got there, we found the battery flat on the camera, so had to make do with photos from my mobile instead.
The tide was quite high so the Shepherds spent most of the time in the water. Jasper on the other hand remained on dry land throughout, Jasper does not like getting wet, but he still , loves going to the beach!

Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday Jasper 1yr old today.
Me, Mum and Dagan were busy in the kitchen yesterday baking a liver cake for Jasper, we iced it with doggy chicken paste and decorated it with doggy treats, Jasper loved it!
Don't worry he didn't get to eat it all to himself, he had to share it with Keira, Brint and Sadie, but he still had quite a big puggy sized portion.
We all decided to give the liver cake a miss and chose a much nicer chocolate cake instead, it was yum!
